The Liebster Award

One of my friends in bloggers.com, Diane, nominated my blog for the Liebster Award in which I am very grateful. In order to qualify for this award we have to follow the rules.

Here's the rules
1. Each person must list 11 things about themselves.
2. Answer the 11 questions that the tagger has set for you PLUS you must create 11 questions of your own for the 11 people you will nominate with this award.
3. Choose up to 11 bloggers linking them to your post.
4. Go to their page and inform them of the nomination
5. Absolutely NO tags back. Remember to ONLY tag bloggers with less than 200 followers.

My Answers
Here's my answers to Diane's 11 questions:
1. Q: What is the best thing about blogging?
A: I never realized that blogging would be very interesting. I started blogging out of boredom during my first trip to Jeddah. Right now despite of my busy schedule I try to make it a point to post an article at least once a month. It is also through blogging where I met some friends in the blogging community.
2. Q: What is the story behind your blog name?
A: As I said, I started my blog out of boredom. I couldn't think of a much better name during that time when I signed up with blogspot.com. It just popup in my mind.
3. Q: What do you want to be when you were a kid?
A: When I was a kid all I wanted to do was to draw. Actually, when I was about to graduate from high school I wanted to take up Fine Arts in college. However, I was told the computer jobs are more lucrative so I ended up taking a computer course.
4. Q: Give four words to describe yourself.
A: Responsible, Persistent, Patient and Serious
5. Q: If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be and why?
A: This is a tough question. I think I would like to be Albert Einstein because I'm curious of what it is like to be a genius knowing all the formula. A little bit of this, a little bit of that...Voila! :)
6. Q: What super powers would you like to have?
A: I want to fly like Superman so I can go anywhere I want. No need to get a visa, a passport, a plane ticket and go through the immigration. :)
7. Q: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
A: North Pole, so that I can be with Santa all year round. Everyday is Christmas! :)
8. Q: What is your most favorite time of the year?
A: Christmas, despite of being the most spending time of the year. The Christmas spirit itself is priceless.
9. Q: What is your most favorite book?
A: I don't have a favorite book in particular but I read a lot of books about Ruby programming language.
10. Q: Which do you prefer the beach or the mountain?
    A: Mountain
11. Q: Who or what inspires you?
A: My wife and my son. They are my everything.

11 Things About Me
I can't think more about myself. It took me some time to come up with this list so I saved it on my hard drive so that if I am asked again I just have to copy and paste.

1. I am a fan of open source pieces of software.

3. I am very much interested in all sorts of wifi antenna.
4. My favorite open source computer games are "Glest" and "Assault Cube".

10. I prefer to spend more time with my family rather than with my colleagues.
11. I love playing board games with my son like Chess, Game of the Generals, Monopoly and Scrabble but as my son gets older he prefers to play more with psp. I miss those days. I wish we could do that again.

My 11 Questions
I find this even harder than the "11 Things About Me". As part of the rules I need to prepare 11 questions to keep the ball rolling. I tried to make my questions as close as possible to the subject matters of my blog. I can't think of much better questions than these, so pardon me.
